The warning was published on the Foreign Ministry’s official page in Facebook: "According to Austrian mass media the local law enforcement agencies have received information there is a potential risk of terrorist attacks in Austria on the eve of and during New Year celebrations at the sites of crowded events. The police do not rule out the possibility outdoor festivities late December 31 and in the small hours of January 1 may be canceled. Dear friends, we are asking you to be cautious and vigilant".
