From June 25 to 30, the International Youth Summer School will be held in Reykjavik, which supports young leaders from around the world, helping them to gain new knowledge and share their experience with colleagues from different countries.

This year, the School was organised with the support of the University of Iceland. The events will be attended by about 90 youth leaders, as well as experts and speakers.

This year's theme: “Future Skills for Sustainability in the Workplace: Preparing for the Transition.”

Robotisation, automation, digitisation and the introduction of innovations have led the labour market and professions to undergo global changes. People do not have time to adapt to the pace of technological development, which affects their level and quality of life. If such a large stratum of society suffers from the inability to earn money and to live with dignity, this will affect all areas of the world community.

The event will discuss ideas for solving problems of society and youth, in particular, what awaits those who are just planning to decide on a profession or have already made a choice, but don’t understand how to proceed.

In order to apply for participation in the Youth School, you must be fluent in English, be an active citizen of your country and show your interest in the topic.

Participants will be able to:

1. Attend educational sessions and seminars that will be conducted by experts from around the world.

2. To acquire skills and knowledge that will serve as a support for future projects and plans.

3. Get invaluable experience in interacting with foreign leaders.

4. Meet like-minded people from other countries.

5. Get contacts of professionals from various fields of business, finance, science, technology and other areas.
