The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (Minpromtorg) is organising the participation of children's animation brands’ proprietors and Russian manufacturers-licensees at Brand Licensing Europe, the biggest international licensing exhibition, which will take place in London, 13 - 15 October 2015. More than 30 companies will be showcased at the collective booth of Russian licensors and licensees in the children's goods segment.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (Minpromtorg) is organising the participation of children's animation brands’ proprietors and Russian manufacturers-licensees at Brand Licensing Europe, the biggest international licensing exhibition, which will take place in London, 13 - 15 October 2015. More than 30 companies will be showcased at the collective booth of Russian licensors and licensees in the children's goods segment.
The Russian delegation's collective exhibition and visit agenda will be organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation within the integrated promotion programme of Russian children's goods companies on foreign markets.
Products by such widely known children's content licensors as Smeshariki LLC, Melnitsa Animation Studio, Animaccord Studio (Masha and the Bear TM), Wizart Animation Studio, Airplane Production Company (Fiksiki TM) and also licensed children's goods produced by Russian companies, such as Avangard (products for newborns), Akvafor (children's dishware), Alfa-Studio (children's cosmetics), Desyatoe Korolevstvo (games and toys), Neotek (children's clothes), Skorokhod (children's shoes), Pervyye shagi (sports equipment) and other manufacturers will be showcased at Brand Licensing Europe exhibition.
Executives of Russian licensed children's goods manufacturers, licensors and licensing agencies, as well as industry associations will represent Russia's World of Childhood at the international exhibition. Working meetings and negotiations with foreign companies such as Hasbro, Viacom, Mattel, Copyright Licensing Agency and a visit to the legendary toy store Hamleys are scheduled during the event.
“The Russian licensing market is one of the most promising in the world. We can name many Russian licensors which offer quality and popular products. We are very much inspired by the successful release of Fiksiki, Kumi-Kumi and many other Russian brands on the international market. Under these conditions the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation intends to support not only widely known animation studios with many years of experience, but also new Russian brands and companies who are only beginning to develop Russian and foreign markets”, says Director of the Department of Domestic Trade Development, Light Industry and the Consumer Market of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Pak.
The business programme of Brand Licensing Europe 2015 in London includes a round table discussion “Russian licensing market of children’s goods: dynamics and prospects for international cooperation”. Leading experts of the industry will discuss the current situation on the licensing market and key issues of licensing processes and objects in Russia and abroad. The representatives of the Association of Products for the Children's Industry, Russian and international manufacturers will participate in the discussion. Russian companies’ representative featuring Minpromtorg of Russia will also participate in the BLE exhibition business events to identify the main trends and new products on the European licensing market.
