Eastern Seasons returns to London with stellar line-up of guests and events
Eastern Seasons returns to London from 28 November to 5 December 2016 with a week of cultural, sports and business events that will strengthen ties between the people of Eastern and Western Europe.
A key highlight of the week is the Russian-British Business Forum: Partnerships for Growth, New Strategies on 29 – 30 November, which aims to shape the agenda of trade and economic co-operation.The Forum will bring together some of Europe's most powerful business and finance officials to discuss the challenges and opportunities for bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the UK and Russia. The key organizer of the event is Russian Trade Delegation in the UK. 200 attendees and 50 spokespeople will attend, representing a wide range of industries and interests at governmental and corporate level.
Eastern Seasons opens on 28 November with a captivating public classical music performance for music lovers entitled Time Regained, at the Royal Over-Seas League World Headquarters on St James' Street. International virtuoso harpsichordist, Mahan Esfahani, will perform a compelling programme of baroque and contemporary classics together with the London-based Russian Virtuosi of Europe orchestra under direction of Yuri Zhislin.
An exclusive tennis tournament at the prestigious Queen's Club will bring together international businessmen, politicians and government officials from the EU, the UK and Russia for a touch of healthy competition.
The finale of the week's events will take place on 5 December, bringing together the most influential personalities from business, sport and culture for the Eastern Seasons Gala Dinner in support of charity partner Street Child United. Held in the bright and grand interiors of One Marylebone, this elegant fine dining event will be hosted by Sky Sports Presenter, David Garrido, with entertainment from talent such as British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and award-winning international ballet star, Sergei Polunin. The evening will feature a charity auction, to raise money for the Street Child World Cup, to take place in Russia in 2018.
With the support of founding partner BSI Global Group, EasternSeasons seeks to become a multinational platform for generating creative ideas and developing new projects.
