On November 24, 2017, the Federal Tourism Agency will carry out the Alliance of Welcoming Cities road show in London.

The event will take place in the legendary Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre and gather representatives of the football community of Great Britain, leading British and Russian mass media agencies, representatives of international tourist organizations and service providers.

The Alliance of Welcoming Cities road show is aimed at demonstration of Russia’s readiness to host the 2018 World Cup, provision of information to the foreign public related to the tickets sale system, advantages of visa-free admission for supporters and FAN ID passports, as well as the most outstanding places of interest and especially prepared tourist itineraries for all guests of 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Representatives of Russian agencies, MATCH Accommodation 2018, host cities of the World Cup, VisitRussia office in England, tour operators of England, the business community and others will participate in the event.

Presentation of tourist opportunities of host cities of the 2018 FIFA World Cup together with international tour operators will be performed within the framework of the event.

“Great Britain is generally admitted as the football homeland. Symbolically, it is here, where the outstanding event, which will enable to demonstrate a high readiness level of Russia to host the 2018 World Cup, will take place. Similar road shows will enable the foreign public to find out more about unique conditions, promoting the maximum comfortable and eventful amusement in Russia”, - Oleg Safonov, the Head of Federal Agency for Tourism, noted.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be carried out from June 14 throughout June 15, 2018, in 12 stadiums of 11 cities of Russia – Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saint-Petersburg, Saransk and Sochi.
