As The ThaiVisaNews reports Thepha police identified the dead as Ms Vipawadee Roipuang, a resident from Maha Sarakham province. She died at the scene. Police said two bombs were planted at the shop and exploded almost a minute apart killing the woman and injuring the other employees and customers. They were admitted to Pattani hospital for treatment.
«About 11.30pm a hand grenade was lobbed into a restaurant-cum-karaoke on Soi Sawan beach in tambon Ko Saba of Thepha district», Bangkokpost added.
It is also said that shortly after, a bomb went off in front of the same premises, about 10 metres from the first spot. Nobody was hurt in the second explosion.
