According to RT, at least four people were injured in the shelling, according to Anadolu news agency, which said five rockets hit the center of Kilis.
Moreover, it is believed that the rockets have been fired from a region in Syria, which is controlled by Islamic State militants. This is yet to be confirmed by the authorities.
Daily Mail informs that, according a Turkish government, more than one rocket fired from the Syrian side of the border hit the centre of a Turkish town.
Earlier, Kilis, which hosts a large number of Syrian refugees, has been caught in cross-border shelling on several occasions.
