RT reported:
Vladimir Putin is either 100-plus years old and never ages - or a time traveler looking for the army of the 12 monkeys, the internet ‘proved’ this week.
Conspiracy theorists are convinced by the ‘solid’ evidence that the Russian president may have been alive for more than a century.
The Telegraph wrote:
Conspiracy theorists have decided that the Russian leader is immortal due to pictures from 100 years ago which show his lookalike. Is Vladimir Putin immortal? The answer is, of course, no.
But a photograph has appeared showing the Russian president has "survived" 100 years with his appearance almost unchanged.
The picture, taken in 1920, shows a Russian soldier who has an uncanny resemblance to the country's current leader.
Yet another photo, taken of a Russian soldier in 1941, also looks uncannily like Mr Putin and the man who was pictured 20 years prior.
Perhaps the key to his long life is riding horses while shirtless, or staying fit and healthy by taking part in a variety of sports.
Conspiracy theorists have suggested that there is more than coincidence or just good health behind these photographs - they think that the Russian leader could be immortal.
"On social networks are circulating pictures from 1920, and in 1941, for which some people claim that they are pictures of Mr Putin," Disclose.tv reported.
Independent remarked:
The cult of personality surrounding Vladimir Putin, cultivated through shirtless photo opportunities and bolstered by foreign wars, keeps going from strength to strength.
And if you’ll believe the Russian President just “found” an ancient amphora after descending to the sea bed in a Bond-style miniature submarine, you may also buy into new conspiracy theories that Mr Putin is in fact immortal.
