Kamenshik, via RBC, was detained in a criminal case against former top managers of the airport - Svetlana Trishina, Andrey Danilov and Vyacheslav Nekrasov.
Investigative Committee of Russia reports that Kamenshik, Trishina, Nekrasov and Danilov introduced a new screening system at the entrances of the airport, which led to an increase in the vulnerability of the safety system of Domodedovo. "As a result, in January 2011, Magomed Yevloyev went freely to the passenger terminal building of the international airport Domodedovo with hidden under clothes explosive device and blowed it up", said the committee.
According to Russia Beyond the Headlines, presently, a measure of restraint in the form of putting into custody is about to be handed down on Kamenshchik. The investigation into the criminal case continues.
On January 24, 2011, a terrorist attack on Domodedovo Airport in Moscow killed 37 people and injured 170. Earlier, Kamenshik did not rule out the possibility of being arrested.
