Rostransnadzor's deputy head, Vladimir Chertok, said agency his “constantly inspects all airlines, it’s just that in this case we have intensified the attention paid to them.” The checks apply to all Russian and international budget airlines flying in and out of Russia.

According to Reuters, Russian investigators are currently examining the flight recorders from a plane operated by Dubai-based budget carrier Flydubai, which crashed in southern Russia on Saturday, killing all 62 people on board.
