In accordance to the combat training plan, Black Sea Fleet holds training on controlling missile strikes and artillery firing. The training is headed by Black Sea Fleet Commander Admiral Alexander Vitko, the Russian Federation Defence Ministry reports.

In accordance to the combat training plan, Black Sea Fleet holds training on controlling missile strikes and artillery firing. The training is headed by Black Sea Fleet Commander Admiral Alexander Vitko, the Russian Federation Defence Ministry reports.

Missile and artillery formations as well as coastal defence units are involved in the training. 

It is said that combat firing was performed by units of the separate missile-artillery brigade of the Novorossiysk naval base with 130mm Bereg mobile coastal systems.

In total, more than 800 servicemen and 200 pieces of armament and military hardware were involved in the training, Ministry added.
