The situation around the Russian embassy in Kiev remains quiet, no more provocations have been fixed, the embassy’s press secretary Oleg Grishin told TASS on Monday.
About 10 people, via Grishin, rally outside the building of the Russian Embassy to Ukraine: "A small rally of about ten people is currently taking place. Everything is happening quietly, with no excesses".
The disorders around the embassy in Kiev began at night to March 6. Angry protesters threw stones and eggs at the Russian embassy in Kiev, breaking several of its windows. People in camouflage smocks, wearing facial masks, armed with baseball bats, smashed cars and throwing smoke pellets as Ukrainians' anger boiled over at Moscow's refusal to free a hunger-striking pilot.
According to Interfax, the Russian Embassy sent a note of protest to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry over a nighttime attack on the diplomatic mission's vehicles.
