The European Union has decided to extend sanctions against 146 Russian individuals and 37 companies for another six months. According to TASS, the asset freeze and travel ban have been extended until 15 September 2016

"On 10 March 2016, the Council extended by six months EU restrictive measures against 146 people and 37 companies in view of the continuing undermining or threatening of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine," the European Council said in a statement.

Three dead people have been removed from the list, according to a press release, RT informs.

Last week, US President Barack Obama extended American sanctions against Russia for another year.
